Tragically, St. Petersburg Police officers Thomas Baitinger, Jeffrey Yaslowitz and David Crawford lost their lives in the line of duty recently. Sergeant Baitinger, 48, is survived by his wife, Paige. K-9 Officer Yaslowitz, 39, is survived by his wife, Lorraine, and their three children, and Officer Crawford is survived by his wife, Donna, and their daughter.

To honor the lives and heroism of these officers, Johnny and Michelle Damon have joined the team to Uncork for a Cause with the release of a very limited 2007 Johnny Damon red wine from Napa Valley, California.

Please join the Damon’s and their special guests at the spectacular Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club. Enjoy a spectacular menu from the Vinoy’s award winning kitchen including Boston Chowda, Hot Roast Beef Sliders, Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes, Mini Hot Pastrami Sandwiches, Lafayette Coney Dog Sliders, Mini Cuban Sandwiches, Fried Grouper Sliders and Mini Key Lime Pies. The evening also includes a wine tasting, a fantastic silent auction filled with sports memorabilia, and above all an opportunity to say thank you to those who sacrifice so much.

Johnny’s wine will be offered for sale and the price includes a personalized autograph. If you are unable to attend, autographed bottles can be purchased online or through the Vinoy as well.

Admission is only $60 and includes food and beverages; advanced tickets are required and limited. Proceeds from the evening and sale of Johnny’s wine benefit the families of these fallen officers through the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association.
