Uncork for a Cause with Cody Ross to Honor Fallen San Francisco Firefighters

The San Francisco Fire Department suffered a tragic loss recently; Lt. Vincent Perez and Firefighter Paramedic Anthony Valerio lost their lives after battling a fire June 2, 2011.

To honor the lives and heroism of these fallen officers, Cody and Summer Ross have joined the team to Uncork for a Cause with the release of a very limited 2009 Cody Ross Napa Valley red wine, produced and bottled by Hill Family Estate.

Please join the Ross’s and their special guests at San Francisco’s famed Fairmont Hotel. Enjoy an enticing menu specially prepared by Executive Chef jW Foster and The Fairmont San Francisco’s award-winning kitchen, fine wines, a fantastic auction featuring local and national sports and entertainment items, wine packages and travel opportunities. The evening also allows an opportunity to say thank you to those who sacrifice so much.

Cody’s wine will be offered for sale and the $75 per bottle price includes a personalized autograph. If you are unable to attend, autographed bottles can be purchased online as well.

Proceeds from the evening and sale of Cody’s wine benefit the families of these and other fallen officers through the Surviving Families Fund of San Francisco Firefighters Local 798, providing financial assistance to families of persons who have died while actively employed as firefighters in the United States.

The Fairmont San Francisco has offered Uncork for a Cause guests a special room rate of $179 for those who prefer to stay in the city after the Cody Ross event.  Please call guest reservations at 800-441-1414 and request the “Uncork for a Cause” package, available Saturday and Sunday nights, August 27th and 28th, 2011.  Rates are based on availability, please book as early as possible.
