The Florida Marlins Community Foundation (FMCF) was founded in 1999 to promote educational, athletic, health, social and community service programs with a particular focus on South Florida’s youth. This not-for-profit charitable organization generates funding from five sources: player contributions, corporate sponsorships, grants, events and ongoing programs. Since its inception, the FMCF has given back over $5 million dollars to the community through "Cornerstones for Kids"; building a brighter future through education, the arts and baseball.
