November 21, 2008 - The Estate House - Scottsdale, AZ
Luis Gonzalez joined the Team to Uncork For A Cause again to benefit The Arizona Quest For Kids. The Arizona Quest for Kids mission is simple: to provide support for college graduation to low-income students with academic potential.
Luis was joined by family, friends, and many fans to help celebrate the night as he uncorked his very own 2006 Luis Gonzalez Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and unique hand-signed fine wine collectibles in Arizona. His collectibles included: the debut of a custom made wood wine box which included "The WineBat™", Luis’ game model Rawlings bat hand stained with Hill Harvest red wine stain and signed by Luis, and three autographed bottles of his 2006 Cabernet. A truly unique piece, only 200 numbered units were available to the public. Luis and his special guests enjoyed an evening of delicious food and desserts prepared by the Estate House and fine wines from Hill Family Estate, where Luis’ Cabernet was produced
The evening included both live and silent auctions featuring signed and unsigned sports memorabilia, fine wines, VIP tours and wine tastings in Napa Valley, and much, much more. Proceeds benefit The Arizona Quest for Kids (AQFK) and their worthwhile goals.
