Luis has added his hard-to-find inscription celebrating his walk-off game and series winning hit in game 7 of the 2001 World Series, lifting the Arizona Diamondbacks to victory over the New York Yankees.
Luis signed this bat on November 21st, 2008 in Scottsdale, Arizona during a charity event hosted by Mr. Gonzalez.

On June 29, 2010, Officer David Curtis pulled over a vehicle for a seemingly routine traffic stop; Officer Jeffrey Kocab arrived shortly after as backup. The next communication was a 911 call reporting two officers shot. Paramedics rushed both officers to Tampa General Hospital where they passed away later that morning. Officer Curtis is survived by his wife Kelly and four sons; Officer Kocab is survived by his wife Sara.
